Municipal engineering
Minnesota communities value the unique amenities that they have to offer their residents. This places a high emphasis on maintaining a close knit community atmosphere, improving water quality for the lakes and wetlands, and maintaining the infrastructure that is in place. park and trail improvements
Trails and parks are an important item in Minnesota communities. Trails are a means of safe passage of pedestrians, but also are an amenity that provides a means of connecting residents with each other and other aspects of the community.

We work with Developers and Land Owners to develop a site plan that not only meets the objectives of the site, but also emphasizes and enhances the existing, natural features. We work closely with the community the site is located in for quick and easy approvals.
storm water management
At Elfering & Associates, we are sensitive to the fact that recreational activities in the State's lakes and wetlands are an essential element to our community, in addition to their aesthetic values. Our staff incorporates the latest in design techniques to ensure that the water quality in our project areas meets and exceeds requlatory requirements
construction management
Construction oversight is provided in a manner and with a level of detail that clients can be confident of the results. Our Senior Field Inspectors have over 30 years of experience, which allows them to make confident, swift decision making that provides for the best result.
Development review
New developments proposed should be constructed in a manner where they provide a benefit to the community. Recommendations are made to clients with an emphasis on how the development will enhance the community. Each development is also reviewed on an individual basis to determine how it will best match the existing topography and features.
